Paladin Media Group is central Virginia’s premiere production company. We create beautifully powerful video for clients scattered from Charlottesville to San Francisco, from New Mexico to Minnesota. You may have an idea bouncing around in your head, or perhaps only half of an idea scratched out on a napkin. Paladin Media Group will bring those ideas to life. We give them legs, we prop them up, we wrap those ideas in video, and we help them fly. That's what we do, day after day, client after satisfied client.

Paladin Media Group is not a giant corporation, but we do great work for some giant companies. We are a modest, local, family-owned business and we call beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia our home. Paladin was founded in 1991 so we're not newcomers to the video world. We've survived several company moves, many video format and industry changes, as well as a little speed bump known as the Great Recession. We at Paladin are positioned today to help you and your business solve problems through video. We look forward to earning your trust.

In addition to our creative video production services we also have a motion picture and documentary unit called Paladin Pictures.  We are also a strategic partner with the Community Films Foundation (501c3), with whom we work to help filmmakers and mission/humanitarian organizations better tell their stories!

PALADIN MEDIA GROUP ACQUIRES MUSIC RECORDING COMPANY

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – May 5th, 2008 - The Paladin Media Group announces the acquisition of Little Rhodie Productions, LLC, an independent music recording company which has produced albums with bands such as Grey Matter, Sweetbriar, and Dustin Brayley. This move continues to round out Paladin’s abilities as the region’s only multi-service media company and will grant Paladin entry into areas of music recording and artist representation.

“It makes perfect sense for us,” says Paladin President Kent C. Williamson. “Music and video go hand-in- hand. Now we want to take it to the next level by producing and repping the region’s best up-and-coming musicians.”

The acquisition includes Little Rhodie frontman Dave Stipe who has worked with musicians in and around Charlottesville for several years. "This means so much for the music scene in Charlottesville. We not only have an amazing recording studio, but we have the capability to film the recording sessions, do the music video and record and film a live concert; anything the artists can dream of, we can make it happen."

Williamson went on to say, “We’ve long been the region’s go-to company for film and video production. Now we want to become the region’s go-to company for highly creative and talented musicians.”

Little Rhodie Productions will retain its identity under the Paladin Media Group umbrella and will act as the music recording and artist representation unit of Paladin Pictures, Inc. “REBELLION OF THOUGHT” TO SCREEN AT GIDEON FILM FESTIVAL

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – April, 9th, 2008 - Paladin Media Group and the Brothers Williamson announce the North Carolina premiere of their highly controversial documentary Rebellion of Thought at the 1st Annual Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival.

Reviewers are saying Rebellion of Thought: post-modernism, the church, and the struggle for authentic faith is, “sure to cause waves in the world of Christianity”*, it “may end up being one of the best documentary films of the year”* and it’s “a superbly made, thought provoking film.”** Five years in the making, the Brothers Williamson (Brad & Kent C. Williamson) traveled the nation capturing the heart and soul of this divisive issue.

Rebellion of Thought became a journey for the Brothers Williamson as they attempted to answer bold questions not only about the potentially conflicting worldviews of faith and post-modernity, but also about their own personal beliefs. The filmmakers interviewed such notable thinkers as Gene Edward Veith (World Magazine), D.A. Carson (The Gagging of God), Ken Myers (Mars Hill Audio), and many others.

Rebellion of Thought will screen at 1:15pm on April 16th at the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival. Director Kent C. Williamson will conduct a time of Questions & Answers immediately following the film’s screening. Tickets for the event are $5 for adults. For more information about the festival, please visit lifeway.com/gideonmediaarts. To learn more about Rebellion of Thought and to view the film’s trailer, please visit RebellionOfThought.com.

PALADIN MEDIA GROUP TO PROVIDE UNPRECEDENTED ONLINE COVERAGE OF ACC SPORTING EVENTS

Exclusive online video streams provide ACC fans across the country a new way to see their sport

Charlottesville, Virginia – Paladin Media Group has announced that it will provide the production services for exclusive coverage of ACC sporting events not available on broadcast or cable television. Teaming with Turner Broadcasting’s ACC Select to cover competition at the University of Virginia, this marks the first time in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) history that online video streams of regular season games are being made available to a national fan base.

Paladin Sports has already begun coverage of forty-plus NCAA events, including women’s and men’s lacrosse, tennis, basketball, softball and baseball, among others. The wide range of contests delivers an unprecedented opportunity for fans to watch live and on-demand coverage of college athletics rarely available on television. ACC Select utilizes the production and technical capabilities of Paladin Media Group and Turner Broadcasting, which also provides streaming video platforms for many properties, including CNN.com, NASCAR.COM and PGA.com. ACC Select games will be available exclusively at www.accselect.com.

Launched in September 2006 through a partnership with Raycom Sports, Lincoln Financial Sports and the ACC, ACC Select provides fans with the best seat in the house for the conference’s Olympic-type sports. The site includes a large portfolio of match-ups across 20 different sports for all 12 ACC schools. “From baseball and basketball, to lacrosse and tennis, ACC Select is the best place for alumni, parents and fans everywhere to watch ACC sports and match-ups that they can’t see anywhere else,” said Phil Sharpe, Senior Vice President of technical operations and development for Turner Sports.

The ACC and UVA are nationally recognized for strength in athletics, both men’s and women’s, providing just the kind of events a national audience wants to see. Live and on-demand streams on the web are a groundbreaking way to get them there. “The [program] continues to reach new milestones and we are extremely excited to be out in the forefront of this technology,” said ACC Commissioner John D. Swofford.

Paladin, too, is excited to be such an important part of this forward-looking venture. Paladin Sports is responsible for the production of the remainder of the ACC Select events at UVA this season and is looking forward to expanding their partnership with Turner Sports. “We’re thrilled to be providing this opportunity for UVA students, alumni, recruits, parents and athletes,” says Josh McGonigle, Paladin’s Coordinating Producer for Turner ACC Select, “and we’re anxious to extend our coverage to more sports, like football, more schools and more conferences in the seasons to come.”
