Paladin Pictures Wraps Jan Karon Film

Charlottesville, Virginia—May 27, 2003—Paladin Pictures announces the completion of the second episode of At Home with Jan Karon. This thirty-two minute film features best-selling novelist and central Virginia resident Jan Karon and will be used to promote the paperback release of her latest Mitford novel In This Mountain.

"It’s a fabulous way for Jan to communicate with her audience," says the film’s producer Kent C. Williamson. "Not all her readers have the opportunity to hear her speak in person and this film shows off her wonderfully charming and delightful personality."

Hosted by Jan Karon and produced by Paladin Pictures in conjunction with Penguin Books, At Home with Jan Karon gives viewers a personal glimpse into the fictitious world of Mitford and into the real life of the author. Filmed on location at her farm, Jan Karon reveals the fate of Father Tim, tells Uncle Billy jokes, answers questions her readers frequently ask, and reads from In This Mountain.
