Paladin Pictures Award-Winning Film To Make Atlanta Premiere

Charlottesville, Virginia – October 12, 2005 – Paladin Pictures and The Brothers Williamson will screen their dramatic film When Love Walks In at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF) in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, October 15 at 12:00 p.m. The film continues its national tour, having recently screened in Michigan and at the Indie Gathering Film Festival in Cleveland, Ohio where it was awarded Best Dramatic Feature and the Director’s Award for child actress Savannah Grace’s performance. These accolades are added to a growing list of honors that When Love Walks In has received, including Best Clean Flick, Best Actress, Best Soundtrack, Best Marketing, and a 2005 Telly Award.

When Love Walks In tells the story of John Redgrave, a photographer who struggles to raise his three-year-old daughter after his wife’s untimely death. Emotionally devastated, he attempts to pick-up the pieces of his shattered life with the help of his charming father and an unlikely new love interest. Elements of loss, love, and eventual restoration have audiences comparing When Love Walks In to films like Bounce starring Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow and Sleepless in Seattle starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

When Love Walks In will make its Georgia premiere at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival, an event aimed at celebrating cultural diversity in independent filmmaking. Now in its fourth year, the festival will feature various informational seminars and workshops, case studies of successful independent productions such as Garden State and Hustle and Flow, and a Writer’s Row sponsored by ABC and The Walt Disney Studios. In addition, the festival will honor independent filmmaker Craig Brewer and singer/actress Queen Latifah for excellence in entertainment.

When Love Walks In was written and produced by Kent C. Williamson and Directed by Brad Williamson--known together as The Brothers Williamson.  In addition to promoting When Love Walks In, the duo is also currently in production on a thought-provoking documentary called Rebellion of Thought that explores faith in a post-modern world. Brad has lived in Sawyer, Michigan with his wife and four kids for nearly 15 years, while Kent resides in Charlottesville, Virginia with his bride and five.
